Architecture Associate 

Job Scope

  • Meeting with clients and other involved professionals at an early stage to agree on the project brief;

  • Developing project briefs and working on these as the project progresses;

  • Preparing planning applications and other regulatory application procedures;

  • Preparing design proposals using computer-aided design (CAD) and traditional drawing methods;

  • Assisting in the detailed design process and co-ordinating design information;

  • Preparing/updating tender documentation and construction drawings;

  • Liaising with appropriate authorities (e.g. Planning enquiries and technical officers) to obtain statutory approval;

  • Attending site visits and recording minutes/discussions

  • Assisting project architect in coordinating site issues

  • Producing and analysing detailed specifications for suitable materials or processes to be used in construction;

  • Understanding how the design aspects of a construction project influence and relate to performance and functional issues, so that practical questions can be addressed at an early stage;

  • Following up with the detailed design process and co-ordinating design information;

  • Co-ordinating and liaising with the various consultants on the project team;

  • Advising clients on procuring the best and most appropriate contracts for the work they are undertaking;

  • Leading the preparation of tender documentation and construction drawings;

  • Assisting in administering contracts and project certifications;

  • Obtaining feedback on work in progress and finished results from clients;

  • Making site visits to check on progress and ensuring that the project is running within the agreed timescale;

  • Solving problems that might occur during building/construction stage;

  • Carrying out defect inspections.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in the architectural industry in Singapore or Malaysia

  • Able to work within a team and in a fast-paced environment

  • Familiar with building regulations (Singapore or Malaysia)

  • Strong Portfolio

  • Good working attitude, proactive and conscientious.

Architectural Drafter 

​Job Scope

  • Prepare project/technical drawings layout using Autocad, Revit

  • Familiar with drafting standards, building codes and regulations

  • Check and review drawings for compliance in accordance to codes and standards and complying to the project requirements

  • Update project drawings and documentation to ensure accuracy

  • Liaise and work closely with project teams

  • Ability to handle complex design and drafating assignments independently

Requirements

  • Diploma in Architectural studies or equivalent

  • Minimum 3 years relevant working experience

  • Proficiency in Autocad, Revit

  • Knowledge in BIM will be an advantage

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills

  • Self motivated and able to work independently and as a team

  • Ability to work under pressure

business development manager

Job Scope

1. Admin

  • Support to coordinate, and attend to clients’ requests and enquiries to ensure a pleasant client service experience

  • Build systems and processes that increase productivity for back-end work within the company

  • Prepare quotations, payment claims, and invoicing to external parties

  • Prepare application paperwork for government agencies for company needs

2. Digital Media

  • Attend to all enquiries via business platforms (corporate mobile, website, and digital media such as Instagram, LinkedIn)

  • Coordinate with external partners for the development of the digital media platforms, website, Facebook, Instagram

  • Coordinate with external partners for the development of content such as photographers and videographers

  • Manage all digital media platforms to ensure that engagements and reach of the platforms are localised, increasing exponentially and attracting the correct target audience

  • Build SOPs for attending to digital media enquiries, and regular posting schedule

  • Prepare monthly reporting to track the performance of reach for the respective digital media, and propose innovative ways to push the portals to the next level

 

3. Human Resource

  • Assist to manage job portals for sourcing suitable candidates

  • Schedule and run interviews, assess candidates for suitability of roles

  • Build SOPs for interview, onboarding and training of new staff

  • Prepare all paperwork necessary for interview, recruitment and onboarding

  • Prepare for payroll, and engagement and ensure staffs satisfaction

 

Job Requirements

  • Full-time position

  • Min Bachelor's degree, preferably in business management

  • Min 2 years experience, fresh graduates may apply

  • Innovative, proactive, driven and self-motivated

  • Work well with others

  • Experience in the construction or architecture firm will be advantageous

  • Remuneration package will correspond to knowledge and experience
